What's happening in the world of Indoor Percussion?

We want to hear about your shows. How did they go?
Are you still competing?
Where did you compete this year?
Feel like bragging...How did you do?

And of course, no one can go through indoor without some funny stories. Don't hesitate to give us all a good laugh.

Alief Taylor Drumline - Houston, TX

This was our first year to use music from MSC. We have been a consistent top 3 finisher in Texas Color Guard Circuit AA Marching Percussion competition, and we wanted to take it to the next level.

We had been arraging our own music, but we decided we wanted a change. Boy, was MSC the right change for us! We played "The House" by Brian Mudgett and Allan Keown. It was great from the very start. Even though we chose to write our own drill, it worked out very well. The drill just flowed for me because the music was so well written. It had the perfect balance of Front Ensemble moments and Battery Moments. The thing we liked the most was how programmatic the music was. It made it very easy for us to come up with a visual design package that worked.

The kids loved the show as much as the staff did. And... We cam home with our first ever TCGC Championship Trophy.

Thanks MSC!!!
